Description
Life for Matt Lathan (26), a personal trainer from Randburg, took a sudden turn for the worse when a night at the movies ended with him lying in the casualty ward with excruciating abdominal pain caused by peritonitis and septicaemia. Due to this, blood poisoning began to destroy his kidneys and liver. To prevent further damage, Matt was given several large blood transfusions to replace his toxic bloodstream.
